I am originally from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I lived right outside of Houston, Texas before settling in my present location of Huntsville, Alabama. Although a large part of my undergraduate emphasis was in sculptural ceramics, I also studied printmaking, and it has since become the central medium of my body of work. I have a studio at historic Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment, a repurposed textile mill turned art facility, where I create and sell my work. I have always enjoyed the outdoors and observing the often missed details in nature. My artwork is heavily influenced by those observations, as well as by my experiences raising butterflies and gardening. My prints are all hand inked and printed. I love experimental printmaking, and I often incorporate vintage ephemera, natural objects, and mixed media into my prints.
